When the Party's Over
Show 1 - Welcome to When the Party’s Over

First show of hopefully many more.  Technical difficulties forced me to play first a couple songs I had saved up for the rnb section of the show (sorry, sort of a newb, ha).. Big up’s to Kevin, hometown friend stationed in San Diego who came on to say what’s up and share his experiences in the Navy.. Hope you can tune in next week!

This past Thursday we got the chance to meet Charles Bradley. We were able to tell him about the show and its origins.  The story we told him went a little like this — About a year ago, me and my buddy Jimmy wanted to join our college’s radio station. At the time, we didn’t know what kind of show we wanted and were considering many different genres. Then we ran across Charles Bradley’s album No Time For Dreaming, and the idea for When the Party’s Over was fully realized. This show exists largely because of his inspiring music and life story. Meeting him might be the highlight of the quarter, not to mention that his performance was amazing.
